Cape Verde is a state located on a volcanic archipelago a few hundred kilometers from the northwestern coast of Africa. It is famous for its Creole culture, combining Portuguese and African traditions, folk music - morna - and numerous beaches. On Santiago, the largest island of Cape Verde, is the capital of the country, Praia, moved here from the city of Cidadi Velha with the fortress of Forte Real de San Filipe.

Кабо-Верде – государство, расположенное на вулканическом архипелаге в нескольких сотнях километров от северо-западного побережья Африки. Оно славится своей креольской культурой, сочетающей португальские и африканские традиции, народной музыкой – морна – и многочисленными пляжами. На Сантьягу, крупнейшем острове Кабо-Верде, находится столица страны, Прая, перенесенная сюда из города Сидади-Велья с крепостью Форте-Реал-де-Сан-Филипе.
