BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience scripting in modern program languages
4+ years of development or technical support experience
Experience in Unix
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
5+ years of* development or technical support experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of one high-level programming language (preferably C++ or Java)
Ability to solve complex problems independently.
Understanding of the complete deployment life cycle from design, build, test, and deploy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong debugging/troubleshooting of Java-based applications
Strong understanding of support processes – SLA, handling tickets, monitoring, processes, and metrics.
Hands-on experience in Cloud technology is a plus.
Hands-on experience with distributed applications/enterprise applications is a plus.
