The events of Revenge of the Sith make it seem as though mere hours have passed between the events of Mustafar and Vaders encasment in his now legendary suit. However the novelisation of Revenge of the sith suggests that it was actually a few days between these two events, giving Palpatine a little more time to Order its creation. Whats more, Vaders suit had been based upon previous Sith cyborgs and the recently desceased General Grievous meaning it took little time to create, especially for someone with as much wealth and resources as Palpatine.
