Editing can take a long time - especially as a beginner. Even with an M1 Mac Mini, I found FCPX was choking when skimming through the timeline, or rendering. In this video, I explore 3 external storage solutions to optimise my editing workflow. I look at the price, storage and read/write speeds. By far my favourite is the SSD and I explain why.
