"Positivity for symmetric functions and vertex models"

Abstract: One question is about classifying homomorphisms with positive values on the family of Macdonald symmetric functions. The other is about non-obvious positivity of certain quantities for the stochastic six-vertex model. I will talk about the relation between these two questions and what it has to do with the RSK.
