With the release of the R-30iB Plus controller, FANUC is providing a significant upgrade to both the hardware and software of iRVision. A new CXV camera system which uses coax cables has replaced the analog interface of R-30iB - the Sony XC-56 is not supported with R-30iB Plus. The CXV interface is much faster and allows for much simpler cable configurations than R-30iB, as the single CXV cable provides power, image transmission and singles to drive FANUC integrated vision products such as a LED light or 3DL laser.
