FREE Ciri in VELEN in the Witcher 3, Glitch Next-Gen Update 4.00, Free-Roam
We show you how to free Ciri in the first chapter of act 1 in the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt after the patch 4.00, the Next-Gen Update which dropped on December 14, 2022. You can have Ciri play many of the remaining quest in Velen, Novigrad, and Hearts of Stone. You might even get her to Toussaint if you can rescue Dandelion in "Poet Under Pressure" with Ciri instead of Geralt. You can escape the flashback of "Ciri's Story: Out of the Shadows" triggered after Geralt tells the Bloody Baron the location of his missing wife. With the next-gen update 4.00, you cannot drop her sword, Zireal, and give it Geralt in this quest.

How to get back to the Basilisk fight 7:35
Thanks to Diego Disla for showing me the parkour to exit and enter the Basilisk fight. Despite his "new" description, with the next-gen update you cannot retrieve a Zireael sword dropped on the table or the floor in Crows Perch by Ciri when you complete "Family Matters" as Geralt after the patch 4.00 a.k.a the next-gen update if you are playing on PS5, XSX/S, or PC
