Choosing your next (or first) weapon is always a little bit scary and exciting. One of the weapons that regularly makes it into the list of suggestions made to players looking to get better at Albion Online PvP is my all time favourite - the 1-handed spear!

But a recent reddit comment made me think. How good is it to suggest this to new or intermediate players? Is it for everyone? What to say if your friend is asking for your opinion. I'm sharing my hopefully helpful insights based on a lot of experience with the 1-handed spear.
