In this video, I take the M1 Mac mini and pit it against the 16 inch M1 Max MacBook Pro. On paper, these 2 machines couldn't be any more different. The M1 Max MacBook Pro has a better chip, 3X the GPU cores, and twice the memory.

But does the M1 Mac mini really lag all that much? We'll find out in this FCPX comparison between the two machines, and in the end, I'll give you my opinion on if it's worth spending the additional $2,000 you'll have to pay in order to upgrade from the mini to the M1 Max MacBook Pro.
