Application Domain Intelligence Part 3: Prompts
This episode introduces the ADI Prompt, one of the critical features of an ADI Node. In addition to evaluating on-the-fly conditions, input prompts allow us to collect and store information gathered from the user in order to help our ADI system to guide the user through a decision process. The adaptive and context-aware nature of Conditions and Prompts is where the ADI system diverges from a traditional decision tree, so we will also explore the differences between a typical implementation of a decision tree and the system we are building. Thanks to those of you who asked about decision trees since the last episode!
