The A7IV Just Got an Upgrade 🎥
You can now use your phone to monitor & control your Sony A7IV - False Color, Waveforms, Touch to focus - Just like on the FX3.
Aside from some bug fixes and wireless stability improvements, Version 4 finally brings support for the Monitor and Control app - one of the most useful and powerful tools that was previously unavailable on this camera.
To update your A7IV, make sure you’re on at least version 1.05, download the file from Sony’s website, toss it onto your memory card’s root directory, hop into setup, and execute your update. Just make sure your battery is full and be sure not to disturb your camera during the update.
