In which I give an introduction to a technique at the core of how I create sounds, pinging. This simple synthesis technique is so flexible that it can be applied to phasers, flangers, delays, filters and more. I cover the basics, show applications in the DAW and modular and demonstrate how to make guitar pedals and other effects ping through feedback routing. In the end I create a whole track almost exclusively through pinging.
