If you can't find your sounds, you can't mix. Organize your session like this to keep your workflow tight so you can make really solid mixes, fast, without getting stressed out or losing sounds.

Follow these steps as soon as you're done with the creative part (sound design, making your MIDI loops, and layering beats).

HOW TO GET ORGANIZED
1. Label every channel with a descriptive name
2. Drag them into groups by sound (drums, instr, vox, FX, etc)
3. Color-code the groups
4. Make submix tracks for your Busses
5. Do your Routing for all track groups into submixes
6. Drop your FX racks on every channel
7. Solo the sounds one by one and clean them up
8. Tweak your stereo submixes in the BusGroups
9. Bring them to the master and export a test mix to share with your friends!
