New trains arrive for MRT 7
New train coaches for the MRT 7 Project from South Korea, arrived and stabled in the tracks near Tandang Sora Station. Two train cars awaiting to be installed on the tracks
More trainsets are expected to be delivered next year.
Train test run at the MRT-7 along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City on Thursday (Nov. 23, 2023). The 22-km. rail line is 63.28 percent complete as of October this year and is on track to be fully operational by November 2025, according to the DOTr.
It will have 14 stations and connect Quezon City to San Jose del Monte in Bulacan province.
The Metro Rail Transit Line 7 (MRT-7) is almost two-thirds complete and is on track to be fully operational by November 2025.
The 22-km. rail line will have 14 stations and connect Quezon City to San Jose del Monte in Bulacan province.
Once operational, it aims to reduce the present two-hour drive from end-to-end to a 35-minute train ride.
