Step 1: Remove the ambient light and adjust your in-camera settings so you’re getting something dark like this that we can light from the ground up. Here are my settings
Step 2, set up your background lights. Here im using 2 profoto a10’s with maggrids. One with a blue gel and the other with an orange gel.
Step 3, add in your key light. Here i’m using the profoto b10 plus with the magbox 42 octa with a grid. I’m placing the light a bit behind my subject to avoid getting any light spill on the wall
Step 4, Now, here's where the magic happens—add some fog or haze to the scene! A dash of this stuff adds that dreamy haze that screams "wow factor."
That's it, you just went from this, to this dramatic fitness portrait.
