The ULTIMATE File Folder Structure for Video Editors!

I’ve been a video editor for over 10 years and it’s safe to say I’m VERY happy with my file folder workflow! In this video I’m sharing my tips to nail down your file folder structure if you are a video editor or in a similar creative field. File organization as a video editor is something that takes a lot of practice to get into a good workflow. It can be easy to ignore the proper file structure and want to dive right in to start video editing!!

Using these video editing organization tips, you will become a master at setting up projects on both your hard drive and in Premiere Pro or whatever video editing software you’re using. Setting up both your editing project and your hard drive in an organized manner not only helps you be more efficient while you’re editing, but it also helps you in the future if you ever need to find an asset from a past video editing project.
