Lauren Pefferle Interview, Newberg "Blackface" Teacher
I scored the first, and so far only, video interview from the Newberg teacher's assistant accused of showing up in "blackface" to the school last week. Lauren Pefferle explains that her actions were to represent and pay homage to Rosa Parks, as she has the utmost respect for the way Parks fought against segregation. Pefferle feels she is experiencing similar segregation after being told she would be removed from having direct contact with students and possibly fired from her job for refusing the jab.
