In the 46th episode of Demystifying Design, I'll be redesigning the Spotify home screen UI.
The goals of this redesign were to make it easier for users to:
1. Listen to the music that I have saved.
2. Browse music to find more to listen to later.
3. Search music to find a specific song.
4. Save music to listen to later.
5. Browse & create new playlists.
6. Swap between different media types (playlists, podcasts, etc.)
7. View relevant advertisements that pique my interests.
8. See what my friends are listening to.
9. Edit my account details.
This entire redesign took me about 5 hours to complete (over 2 days). Hope you enjoy!
