How to setup Smart Lighting with Blinds - Rako and Qmotion

Was great fun filming this Rako and Qmotion collaboration introduction video.

We show how easy it is to set up Rako Smart lighting with Qmotion blinds with the help of Paul Wafer MD of Rako Controls LTD

The integration of QMotion FM blinds is via their new ethernet gateways the RK and WK-HUB. Rako HUBs now have native control of all Qmotion FM wireless products.

This gives the following functionality.

Native control of all QMotion FM roller blinds - Battery and LV wired options

Control of single or multiple blinds as part of a Rako scene

Rako “holiday-mode” integrates all lighting and window shading

Blinds seamlessly integrate within Rako ecosystem

Manual override from included Emotion hand held if required

Simple setup from RK/WK-HUB web interface

Maintains Qmotion Patented manual override feature

Simple ordering via the QMotion UK website with Rako RF motor option highlighted to avoid confusion.

Ian Claxton from QMotion UK also commented:

Functionality includes group and scene setting of blinds at perfect uniform alignment in their stop positions and of course QMotion is the only motorised blind system with a patented manual override function. Blind power can be provided by D cell alkaline batteries providing up to 3 years of power due to special in built counter balancing spring technology that also provides power to the the blind or they also offer a LV wired version that would require a transformer that can power up to 8 blinds.
