On the Street: A
Bringing his empire state of mind to the 6ix- on May 13th photographer Timothy McGurr showcased his first Canadian solo exhibit at FREE Space in Toronto.
Better known by his shooter pseudonym 13th Witness, Timothy got his start as a graphic designer. Later, a move to Tokyo sparked his introduction to photography as a means to document his life abroad. Many years and passport stamps later he’s still constantly rediscovering his love for photography.
Joined by his father and renowned street artist, Leonard McGurr aka Futura, the two talk process, creative journey, and the power of black and white.
