In this video, I will upgrade the Fast Rhino R68 to the latest firmware release from Lean (OpenWrt R22.8.22 - Kernel version 4.19.245). After that, I will run a WAN to LAN throughput test with OpenSpeedTest and iPer3. On this test, the WAN port and LAN port are having 2.5Gbps link speed.
No matter what I try, the throughput is always around 1600 Mbps. I enabled packet steering, disabled SQM QoS, changed the CPU governor to Performance, upgraded the original power adapter to a 12V/5A adapter but the result in iperf3 & openspeedtest is still the same. In the test, only 1 core of the CPU is fully utilized, the rest of the cores remain idle. If you have any idea how to overcome this, please let me know in the comment section.
