Accidental sampling IS A Non-probability sample (not fully random sampling) technique which is commonly used in situations where it is difficult to obtain a representative sample or where the research study is time sensitive. Also known as convenient sampling and opportunity sampling, it could sometimes induce sample error (so less useful in scientific research), so result should be interpreted carefully.
