how to disable osu score submission (read description)
*please read the description for extra info and a written tutorial*
how to disable submission:
open notepad with administrator
click open and go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
bottom right corner, change (*.txt) to All Files
open hosts file
add line: "0.0.0.0 osu.ppy.sh" and save
to re-enable submission, delete the line or put # before it
CONS:
can't download new maps
can't access osu.ppy.sh website
can't use osu!direct
NOTE:
your scores will continue trying to submit for 120 minutes. if you re-enable score submission, your scores will submit even after you played the map. if you close your client, the scores will stop attempting to submit.
if you want to access the website, download a map, or start playing to submit scores, CLOSE YOUR CLIENT, edit the hosts file, then open your client again.
