In this tutorial I show how to do Multi-Band Sound Processing with the Elektron Octatrack. It is really similar to what people do in Ableton or any other DAW. I found this technique really useful when it comes adding Phase-based effects on a Synth Bassline. By nature Phase-shifting effects (like Chorus, Flanger or Phaser) are dangerous for low and sub frequencies because they can easily mess them up or even cancel them completely. But how do you preserve the low and sub ends? Is there a way to do that?
