What is goody gang, so today I am going to be talking about some updates to the genshin 4.3 banners along with some speculations about it as well. You guys already know to absolutely nuke that like button and to join our goofy discord server which is in the description. The server is very active and I am too so it’s a great place to just vibe out and you get notified as soon as I upload.
So while the five stars of this banner have been known for a while, I will just go over them again because they are relevant.
So in the first phase, we are said to be getting the new geo character Navia, and then also we are said to be getting Ayaka for the rerun. In the second phase, we are said to get Raiden as the archon to rerun, and then we would also get Yoimiya to rerun here. Overall, this makes it pretty difficult to choose who to pull for because all of the characters are good for their niche, while Raiden is just great overall but can be replaced for slightly worse versions in every team comp. So the reason why they are important for the banner update is because the four stars we get typically share the same element as the five stars in the banner. So here is going to be the confirmed four star characters we have assuming that the five star characters are accurate.
With that being said, this is why Chevreuse is said to rerun in second phase, because she is pyro and Yoimiya is also a pyro user. Along with Chevreuse, Sara would also get a rerun as she always runs with Raiden Shogun, so this leaves the second phase to be left with only one more possible character. Now this is actually a good thing even though some people do not like the fact that Chevreuse might be second phase because Navia is in first, but this can be good considering Raiden and Sara could be pretty good for Chevreuse comps. But now that we got the confirmed characters out of the way, we can now move on to the more speculative but highly likely rerun characters.
So to jump around from second phase to first phase, since we know that Navia is a geo character, we are definitely going to be getting a geo character to rerun in here. So, we do have two options, and this can be either Yun Jin or Ningguang to rerun here, as Gorou only reruns with Itto. The thing is that Ningguang has had a larger rerun gap than YunJin, as she last reran in version 3.4, whereas YunJin last reran in version 3.7. On top of that, Ningguang also benefits from the new artifact set in 4.3, so I think this will be a great time for her to get a rerun in here. The other thing is that they usually rerun Liyue characters in lantern rite, but since they are both from Liyue, it wouldn’t really reduce anyone’s chance of rerunning. And now moving on to Ayaka, since she is a cryo character, we really only have two main choices to rerun here. So we could either get Chongyun, who last reran in version 3.7, or Rosaria who last reran in version 3.8. For some reason I feel like Rosaria is going to rerun here, but obviously it could really go both ways. So now it’s time to move on to jump on to the potential other characters.
So for the other characters, this is a lot more flexible as to who can rerun here, but I can still infer who has a likelier chance than others to rerun. So another likely character to rerun is Xinyan unfortunately, and this is really just a clock ticking down as she last reran in lantern rite. Maybe they can push her to rerun in Lantern Rite yet again, but I am not sure if they are really going to wait a whole year to rerun her. Another likely character to rerun here is Sucrose, who last reran in 3.5, so she definitely has a chance to rerun in here. Just to name a few other candidates, we could get someone like Candace to rerun, Kaveh, or even Layla, but I definitely think it is going to be some combination of these characters. The phases in which these flex characters rerun in can be completely random, so we will just have to wait and see for that.
