Acting on intel received after the fact, Milanor and pals make for Lost Aries, a bit more north from Karona. To enter that patch of wasteland means skitting along the Marduk Woods, a notoriously dense forest. Imperial Forces are crawling the place so the team has to try and stay out of their hair.
Nietzsche's hair is meanwhile targeted by a strange girl inhabiting the forest and deathly curious about their reproduction process. She barely gives her the time of day before poking her with a stick. Just in time for Milanor and Durant to find an alternate way past the Imperials. The team heads east only to find Mizer raiding a local resistance force because the resistance leader doesn't have fancy boots probably. Said resistance leader is my son Cruz! He's the only dude left in his crew and is more than eager to start a REVOLUTION.
The team continue to make their way through the forest with Cruz in tow and a new hanger-on as well, the strange girl from before. When Pamela the Great sees an Undine she wants that prize. Guard your hair, Nietzsche... and the rest of you to be safe!
