a.k.a. the video that will appeal to only like 5 people, including me, my friend who introduced me to toki pona in the first place, my mom, and this one person on tumblr who said they were one of the 5 people who this video would appeal to. the 5th person is probably another one of my friends. other than that… well, please defy my expectations! (but not too much bc im shy)
ANYWAY! please enjoy! I tried my best to make it sound good. I set a bit of a higher standard for myself than I had in the past, but I'm not sure it actually shows. I've got a nice mic, and have had it for a while, but apparently I'm not really sure how to use it yet. I keep getting too close, or I overcompensate for that and get too far away. I did record this while standing, and at an hour where I don't have to worry too much about waking up my family members, so I was able to put more energy into it.
as for the elephant in the room, aka my voice, I went on testosterone a few months ago, so my voice is different now. listening to my old videos sounds so weird now!

this in itself is an official vocal version of the Apple Scramble theme from the video game Kirby's Battle Royale! (funnily enough, this is one of the few modern Kirby games I haven't played…)
