Hallstatt, Austria is often described as one of the most beautiful lakeside villages in the world. Its charming setting, surrounded by mountains and reflected in the clear waters of Lake Hallstatt, often referred to as a "mirror lake" due to its calm waters, attracts tourists from around the globe. The village is situated near salt mines that have been in use since ancient times. Hallstatt and the surrounding Dachstein Alps were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To fully appreciate the breathtaking beauty of this region, we'll take a Salzbergbahn cable car ride to reach the Hallstatt Skywalk, shot on a sunny day in the winter.
