This brilliant no-yeast recipe for peanut butter bread recently surfaced on the Internet and we had to try it. @trixietravisbrown from the Reddit group /r/Old_Recipes posted this 1932 Depression era recipe that calls for yummy peanut butter as one of the key ingredients. Another perk is that it requires no yeast, no kneading, and pantry ingredients you might already have on hand--perfect for first time bread bakers or folks that want to try something super-tasty.

Per the original post, it calls for 2 cups of flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 4 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 1/3 cups milk, and 1/2 cup peanut butter. You mix the dry ingredients, then blend in the milk, then the peanut butter. Bake in a greased loaf pan in an oven preheated to 325F for an hour.
