Two aircraft carriers to remain in the Middle East 'for now'
For the first time in a long time, the United States has two Navy aircraft carriers on station in the Middle East. USS Abraham Lincoln arrived in the U.S. Central Command area of operations four days ago, joining USS Theodore Roosevelt, which has been there for several months.
