NEIL LANDSTRUMM has released records on a wide variety of electronic musics’ finest labels over the last two decades and is one of the true innovators in techno. Highlights were the recent released Snork1000 release and also include 12”s and LP’s for Peacefrog, Tresor and Planet Mu records and has recently released his tenth career LP, ‘Dragon Under’ on the UK’s Sneaker Social Club label. 2017 has seen a plethora of 12"s including synthwave and italo style tracks on the Giallo Disco and Moustache records from the Clone family in Holland. Other noteworthy collaborations have been with Optimo’s JD Twitch as Doubleheart, Sugar Experiment Station with Tobias Schmidt and Modini with Alan 'Hostage' Parley recently released on Dixon Avenue Basement Jams. Essentially a live hardware-based artist since the beginning of his career, he has toured internationally for the last 20 years with regular events in Europe, Japan and China. Landstrumm also lived in New York for a number of years but is now based back in Edinburgh working from his own Witness Rooms studio. A pioneer of new electronic styles with a strong signature techno sound often copied and imitated, he has always been, and continues to be, a unique electronic artist.

So after his recent Snork1000 release on Snork Enterprises, we asked him to compose a set at home out and just play what he is into right now! Nothing else. No specification. No audience. Pure personal style, determined almost exclusively by your personal taste and current mood. That’s what makes it exciting. Each podcast is a close and very personal reflection of the artists or DJ himself, and we are extremely curious to listen to it!
