As soon as Aydın is appointed to the big city, he falls in love with Mehtap, a salesgirl working in a candy store. Just before he was on compulsory service in a desolated town in Anatolia, but now he is a police officer in Istanbul. He has a hard time convincing Mehtap. On the other hand, while trying to get used to and adapt to this new metropoliatn he has just moved to, he tries to continue his life in suffering caused by platonic love, like his friend former law student , who shares a similar fate.
