True- the magic of film photography can’t be beat. On the other hand - digital photography achieves things that analogue can’t touch. The way Atiba Jefferson sees it- there’s reason for both.
In the 3rd episode documenting the process leading up to his first Toronto gallery exhibition “Never Work” Atiba brings his seasoned POV to the film vs digital debate. Included in the gallery is a portrait of Andrew Reynolds shot on the first all Canon professional digital SLR: the EOS-1D.
From inside the Canon Creator Lab Atiba shares his experience as one of the first dudes in skating to make the switch to an SLR. Soon after, he captured the now-iconic portrait of Andrew Reynolds.
