Video guide to solve the problem of error code CH02 in LG portable air conditioners - Indoor unit heat exchanger input sensor failure
In case of anomaly, your LG air conditioner will transmit an identification code usually represented as "CH" + numerical value.
This function has been designed to carry out a self-diagnosis of the air conditioner:
In case of multiple anomalies, the most important one will be displayed first.
Once the error condition has been resolved, the related LED will also no longer light up.
To return to operation again, in case a CH code has been activated, make sure to turn the air conditioner off and on again.
Each model can have different self-diagnosis modes.
Useful information:
The codes from CH01 to CH12 are linked to anomalies of the indoor units, while from CH21 to CH73 to the outdoor ones (with the exception of CH05 and CH53). Pay attention to these conditions before requesting an intervention on an outdoor or indoor unit, if the code does not refer to it.
After removing the cause of the CH signal, turn off the air conditioner by completely disconnecting it from the mains, and turn it back on after 3 minutes: at this point the displays (or LEDs) of the indoor and outdoor units will return to normal.
