Step 1 Sterilize your menstrual cup at the beginning of your period. You can do this by boiling it on the stove or purchasing a Pixie Steamer.
Step 2 Apply some lube and insert. Lube will make it 5x easier to insert and create a leak-proof seal.
Step 3 Remove your cup and wash it before reinserting. When you remove your cup, make sure to grab the base of the cup and not to tug on the stem.
