RYKARD LORD OF BLASPHEMY GOD DEVOURING SERPENT Boss Fight in Elden Ring (Volcano Manor Questline - Rykard the Shardbearer)! The main key to this boss is using some of your stones to upgrade the Serpent Hunter weapon significantly beforehand and then rushing some hits in at every safe moment possible and timing your dodges. 1st stage - Heavy sword attack from left side is a simple roll dodge and the follow up on the right side can be dodged by jumping over the sword but timing has to be precise. Timing on the roll against the charged bite attack is another crucial strat to get down in the first and second stages as it will do heavy damage if not.
2nd stage - Go hard on the attacks when possible because the longer you wait the more hectic it will get. Keep applying attack pressure when he starts spitting the red skulls. The Serpent-Hunter will take care of most of them and you'll be getting more damage on Rykard at the same time and it'll stop the attack prematurely to keep more from being spit out.
