getFilter()' on a null object reference
This type of error comes when you have added search fitter.
Your error may also be different. If this type of error is coming then you can easily solve it.
When do you get the error?
This error appears when you click on the display button. Because of using custom adapter, first check and make sure that first you have declared variable in parent class and use it elsewhere where it is needed.
