Turn a Raspberry PI into a Music Box server, to which you can stream your music to, and turning any stereo into an airplay enabled stereo for under 40€. I am using the Raspberry Pi 2, but any Raspberry Pi would make it.
Examples of operations on a MacBook Pro, target installation: Linux headless (remote access only, no need for monitor or keyboard!).
