Running a Linux distro live is a good way to test its compatibility with your hardware. It is also good for testing apps. Some distros will allow you to do this while some won't and most that do are quite good distros. Bodhi linux is one those good distros but,....still needs some more polishing. I'll be watching this distro and be looking forward to breathing new life to some old computers.
