The first few clips are the most extreme example of how to drive a stick shift in the most aggressive fashion, don't try this on your first try :). For those of you who lack a sense of humor or want to get straight to the point, skip straight to 3:20 where I teach how to drive a stick shift car.
Through out this video that will teach you how to drive a manual transmission car (manual and stick shift are synonymous), I include made tips that you probably will not find in average 'how to' instructions.

Be sure to find a wide open space such as an empty parking lot or a country road with very little traffic when you learn how to drive a manual car. Also it would be beneficial to either have a pair of shoes on, or barefoot (for better feel of the pedals and better feedback from what the pedals are doing). I would not recommend wearing flip flops (sandals) when you learn how to drive a stick shift vehicle.

Be patient when learning how to drive a manual car. You will probably stall a few times, but after you learn how to properly get the car rolling and shifting gears you can learn more advanced/aggressive driving like I do in the beginning of this video. Buckle up and have fun, but don't be "that guy" driving like a (insert expletive of choice) in traffic - enjoy your driving!
