What if Klaus didn't come to Mystic Falls for Elena but for Claire, because he was told that she was his mate and the only way he can make hybrids. Claire and Bill Forbes come back to town when Caroline gets into an accident, they decide to stay for a while so Claire and Caroline can better there relationship. Upon returning to Mystic Falls High, Claire finds out her ex boyfriend, that she had to break up with when her parents got a divorce and she moved away with her father, is now with her sister Caroline. Klaus comes to town but Claire pays him no mind. Bill dies and while Caroline is comforted by her friend Elena, Claire has grief sex with Klaus. She then finds out he is a vampire when she goes downstairs the next morning to find him eating some girl. The Mystic Falls gang feels threaten by the presence of the Original hybrid and decides to take him out. They have Claire distract him so they can catch him off guard. Claire later finds out she is pregnant and goes back to the town she left off to with her father after the divorce. Klaus is revived and goes in search of her. He finds her and over hears a conversation addressing their child. Klaus calls her to tell her he is back and knows about the baby. They meet and he insists that she leave with him. She does to ensure the safety of her family and friends. What happens next....the world may never know. ;)
