How to Install Windows 11 in KVM (Ubuntu)
In this video, I show you how to install Windows 11 in KVM.
Installing Windows 11 in a virtual machine is complicated by the fact that having a TPM and a UEFI BIOS--that latter one is oversimplified on Microsoft's website with the wording "Secure Boot capable"--are hard requirements to even just install Windows 11 on a PC.
UPDATE: If you are running Ubuntu 22.04 or newer, the swtpmsetup script will no longer work due to dependency issues. You can install SWTPM by running "sudo apt install swtpm-tools".
*This video was made with Ubuntu in mind, but the same process should work on any Debian-based distribution. Other distributions will have a different process for installing SWTPM.
