It's been a minute since I've talked about my sampling workflow for SP404MK2 beat making. A lot has changed since then. In today's video I wanted to revisit the Koala Sampler and SP404MKII Combo to discuss why these two work best together. We'll walk through sample chopping on these machines, moving sounds between them (and why it's useful to utilize the SP's fx in the process) and finally sequencing tracks to make finished songs with this DAWless setup.
