OPEX Coach Matt Springer discusses how you can improve your footwork and weight shift during your split jerk Olympic Weightlifting.

Matt discusses a few drills that are beneficial to implement to improve your footwork. Those drills are:

1. The fall forward to see what foot you favor
2. 90/90 lunge and stand up to establish your catch position - many people make the mistake of being too narrow with their feet in the catch
3. Practice having approximately 60% of your weight in your back leg in your catch
4. Practice going 10 for 10 in an unloaded split practice drill
5. Dip, drive/toes, split practice to establish the right technique prior to the catch
