1987-1997 : Il est le guitariste du groupe Whitesnake.
2012 : Il forme le groupe Vandenberg's Moonkings avec Jan Hoving (chant), Sem Christoffel (basse) et Mart Nijen Es (batterie).
2014 : Ils sortent leur premier album éponyme.
