Minecraft LAN is the most famous way to connect and play with friends in Minecraft in any version. In this video, I will go through How To Connect via Minecraft LAN to join or have your friend j oin your Minecraft World.
I will explain how to play with friends via a Java edition LAN server on Minecraft. Let me do a quick summary of How To Play Minecraft With Friends on a LAN World: First of all, you need to go to the minecraft singleplayer world and then click on "Open To LAN". You can find this in the pause menu. Locate your IPV4 address alongwith the port. Your friend needs to go to the "Multiplayer" tab and select the "Direct connect". Make sure to tell him to put in your IPV4 address and the LAN number that you have found when you opened Minecraft game to lan. Also known as "Port number". Then he will be able to join and you will be in a multiplayer game in Minecraft with your friend using a LAN connection!
