How to Use def to Create Functions in Python - Simple Example
In this episode, we return to our Python playlist in order to show how to use “def” to create some simple functions in Python. Functions are a critical part of programming, and you will find that by using them, your code will become much better. Functions can return values, perform actions, and lots of other things. One use is that they can help you to refactor code so that your code is much more efficient and re-usable.
We’ll start with some very simple functions that just perform an action, then move on to a function that returns a value, and then show how a function can use another function.
