Thessaloniki is the second largest and most populous city in Greece, located in the north of the country in the historical region of Central Macedonia. Our today's journey through Greece by car brought us to the center of the Macedonia and Thrace region, where the Greek major seaport is located. The entire length of the city is washed by the warm and gentle Aegean Sea. Thessaloniki is a beautiful city with a pleasant youthful atmosphere where you can find everything your heart desires. Here you can admire ancient Byzantine churches, sit in cozy cafes, stroll along ancient monuments and enjoy traditional Greek cuisine. And in the Greece 2023 season, I simply had to visit it.

Thessaloniki is not in vain called the cultural capital of Greece. The city is famous for its vibrant and rich day and night life. Also here is the largest university in the Balkans, which determines the youthful style of the city. Thessaloniki is a city with a very ancient and rich history, it was built 2300 years ago. The appearance of the old city was laid by the ancient Greeks, Romans, Byzantines and of course the Ottomans. Here you can see both ancient monuments of the ancient period, as well as much younger buildings.

In this video I will show you the most beautiful places in Thessaloniki. We will see all the best sights of Thessaloniki and I will tell you how you can visit them outside of the banal tourist excursions.
