MCSMA -Multichannel CSMA is a protocl known as special MAC protocol. It uses the same CSMA principles in multichannel Ad Hoc Wireless Network transmission. Very important fundamentals like Soft Channel Reservation, difference in FDMA for cellular N/W and for Ad Hoc N/W, TRSS, Sensing Threshold, free channel, Long Interframe Space [LIFS], Sensing Threshold [ST], Back off time, Random Access Back Off Delay etc. are explained here.
