How to setup HDMI CEC in Denon receivers and 4K Video Projectors (Viewsonic). This is a tutorial about how to set up HDMI arc function between a receiver and a projector. New 4K HDR Video Projectors have this function of hdmi arc and can be started from the projector remote control. And also can be turned off in some cases. Using the projectors remote control OFF button will turn off the projector and the Denon Receiver. In our case we use Denon AVR-S960H. Remember that new projectors have into the specifications hdmi arc function. Check out yours.
Go into your Denon receiver menu, HDMI setup: HDMI Control ON, Power saving OFF, smart Menu ON, Tv Audio Switching ON.
Into the projector menu: POWER MANAGEAMENT Auto Power On: SIGNAL ON, CEC ON.
